Hi! I'm Kea, a dancer, teacher, and mentor. My coaching is for teens and young adults who are looking to change their relationship with their body. This includes your self-talk, as well as becoming strengthened physically, mentally and emotionally through movement and self-awareness.

This method and the tools you'll learn working with me will take you to a whole new level of confidence in your dancing and how you lead your life each day. You'll see and feel immediate shifts in how you move your body in your dancing. Each experience integrates my method 5 pillars, plus we'll dive deeper into storytelling, movement quality, and/or choreography, depending on your goals.
Your mind is a super highway that can take you to amazing levels of creativity and productivity - or can get you stuck in rush hour traffic taking your precious time, energy (and sanity). The light signal is our self-talk, it can either gives us a green light and keep us on track, or slow us down and dismantle our day. Pillar #1 focuses on developing a positive self-talk habit that will enhance your memory of choreography and dancing, and provide you with a priceless tool set when it comes to preparing for performances. You'll also see and feel immediate shifts in how you move through the world in your daily life.
Emotions and feelings are our Creative Currency, it's what drives us. Pillar #2, takes you into the territory of labeling what is creating or triggering emotions in you and which wolf to feed. The good energy or the bad. I'll teach you a powerful visualization technique to RECENTER your energy and RECLAIM your emotions. Then once you’re back in control and RECHARGED, you can simply REFOCUS and channel that emotional energy. You can channel it into your dance, your passions, and your goals to become a productive and resilient force of nature!
Having a practice of meditation and affirmation to centering your mind, body, and emotions is the key to allowing your spirit to lead you throughout your day. Building a connection with the world beyond ourselves keeps us humble allowing us to remain open to learn from our teachers and others around us. Nature is a big teacher and deserves our respect. In this Pillar you’ll learn my daily practices that keep you in line with your intentions and goals and reinforce the first three pillars.
As Dancers we train ourselves in the studio and at the gym, but are we training ourselves to rest, recharge, and nourish our systems from the inside out? Shower ourselves in love and gratitude for the amazing work we’re doing? Most dancers don't have a self-care routine to match their physically demanding barre routine– this is where I come in. I'll help you tailor a plan and habits that will not only help you to achieve your physical goals in and out of the studio, but also propel you further. A routine to reduce stress, feel happier, and sleep better. To feel good in your body and feel joy everyday - look in the mirror and say, “Oh darling you’re lovely today!”

Just like honoring what we're grateful for attracts abundance to us. We must share the passion and freedom we've found in our dance to complete the energetic and natural process of giving and receiving. This Pillar of my method focuses on shaping your story into inspired movement with a message. A dance that someone out there, maybe similar to you, needs to be a part of. To feel connected, not so alone, and inspired to live more courageously in their own lives.
Now that you've integrated all five pillars into your every day, regardless if you're dancing or not, you'll be movin' & groovin' through life feeling centered, healthy, and vibrant! Mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually fit to take on the world, enjoy who you are and be your own special brand of awesome. Feel stoked, you've worked hard! In my youth I had a series of life experiences that left me feeling emotionally frayed and barely able to cope with daily life. Until I realized I could use movement to transform that trauma and heavy emotion, mentally and physically into usable energy. I developed a practice that was a simple combination of intention, affirmation, self-care and movement that allowed me to create the life I wanted for myself– I want that for you too!
